"Choctaw Emigrants" on pg. 2 states in part that: ...twenty-two hundred emigrating Choctaws arrived at Memphis...and would embark...for Rock Roe, on White River, where the U.S. teams will...transport them to their new homes west of this Territory. A Delegation of...Seminole Indians... came up...on their way to explore the country west of Arkansas, with the view of selecting a new residence, near the Creeks...for the future homes of their tribe.... Other news of the day with advertisements. 4 pages in nice condition.
