A front page item below the fold says the Quakers in the U.S. have a total of 715 meeting houses and an aggregate membership of 283,023, plus the number of meeting houses and members in Md., Wash., D.C., Va. and Pa., their favorite State. Other news of the day includes: "Recent Mail Robbery" "The Mississippi River" "Reported Expedition Against Gen. Walker" The spine is a bit irregular, some lite fold rubbing, first leaf has an archival mend to a tear in unrelated content, occasional foxing.
