* Early 19th century obesity
* 700 pound man - freak show like exibit
Page 3 has a report about a 700 lb. man on exhibit in London. Says he ...measures three yards 4 inches...round the waist....eats little, drinks nothing but water, enjoys perfect health...and appears in good spirits.... Other news of the day includes: "Foot Race" "Patent Cannon" and more. Several interesting advertisements as well. First leaf has a piece missing in the upper right corner causing unrelated loss.
