Front page has: "Accounts from the Mines-Gold Abundant-Every one getting Rich...Gambling", taking over 5 1/2 linear inches, and including: "I saw one man put down $10,000 in gold dust at a play called monte', and he won the bet", and much more. The front page also has: "Emigrants to California" which includes a description of a near tragedy of "The Crescent City" with a list of those on board. 8 pages in good condition (see images)
