LIBERTY magazine, New York, May 27, 1939. This is the complete issue of this popular title with a nice color cover showing a young lady measuring her plantings (see photo). The back cover features a color ad of Lucky Strikes. Stories include "I Will Beat Max Baer and Joe Louis Too" by Lou Nova; "The Boy With the Butterfly Boots" which is a story about Gene Autry;. and "What I Do and What I Am - The Private Life of George Bernard Shaw" by George Bernard Shaw. Very nice condition, a bit of loss at the spine, and measuring about 8 1/4 by 11 1/2 inches.
