THE EDINBURGH EVENING COURANT, Scotland, 1727 This will likely be one of the earliest dated Scottish newspapers you will come across. Complete in 4 pages with various news of the day from throughout Europe, the front page features an ornately engraved first letter (see photo). Some light dirtiness & rubbing to the front page with some edge wear. Measures about 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches.
