THE CALEDONIAN MERCURY, Edinburgh, Scotland, 1745 This is one of the more famous 18th century titles from Scotland, complete in four pages and with various news of the day and ads as well. We have several issues from the significant year of 1745 from during the Jacobite Rebellion, and great to have a newspaper from Scotland at this time! Some light soiling to the front page, otherwise in rather nice condition & measuring about 8 by 10 inches. The photo below is "generic" as the actual issue you receive will have a slightly different date although from 1745. The condition will be similar.
