THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, Aug. 2, 1862 See the photo below for a very unusual and terrific display issue, with the large front page illustration of General Halleck. Plus, the front page has many very nice one column headlines concerning the Civil War as seen in the photos below.  This is the tri-weekly edition of the Inquirer, meaning within its 8 pages is a second full front page with masthead, headlines, and a nice print of the "Rebel Gunboat Arkansas". (see photo) essentially giving you two complete front pages among the 8 pages in this issue! Never bound nor trimmed, some very light damp staining near the spine, otherwise quite nice.
