THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, June 28, 1770

* Reverend Whitefield

Page 2 has a brief notice stating: "The Rev. Whitefield is in good health in Georgia, and proposes to return to England next spring." Another page 2 item is headed: "America" has reports from Williamsburgh and Charles-Town (Charleston), South Carolina, as seen in the photos.
Page 3 has a report headed: "Boston in New England" which tells much about the colonies, noting: "...she has risen to her present opulence & greatness which so much distinguish her among the powers of Europe..." with more on the presumed future of the American colonies (see).
Another page has an interesting ad advertising "American Lands" for sale in the county of Albany in New York (see).  Complete 8 page issue, some minor rubbing to the front page only, partial red-inked tax stamp on page 2, generally in nice, clean condition.
