January 22, 1916

HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York City, New York, January 22, 1916

Within this issue are several articles including "Schools, Colleges and Jews" by Norman Hapgood; "New York to the Nation: A Plea" by Marguerite Campion; "Kodak Magic" by Elizabeth King Maurer; "Chairman's Cross" by Owen Oliver; "On the Ice and Off" by Herbert Reed and "Coupes, Curves and Costs" by John Chapman Hilder which includes several photos of cars plus much more. The original outer wrapper is not present.

There are also several photos in this issue including "Birdseye Views at the Front" and "In the Garden of Kama."

Some illustrations are also included in this issue including "When Knights Were Bold" by Rea Irvin and "Follow the Leader" by Morris.

Other advertisements of the day are included as well, helping to portray life at the turn of the century. This issue is in very good condition, but it does not have a color cover page before the title page.  Note:  The title pages for Harper's Weekly issues dated in 1915 and 1916 are positioned on what we would consider to be page 2 (the back of the 1st page - left side).
