This issue has a color cover page before the title page. On the back of the cover page there are photos from the war in yellow-gray ink.

In this issue, there are several articles including "When Will the War End?" by Norman Hapgood; "The War and America" by David Starr Jordan; "A Stranger Within the Gates" by Herbert Reed; "The Fight for Health"; "The Anti-Papal Panic" by Joseph Scott and "The Birth of a New Era" by John E. Garden plus much more.

There are also several illustrations in this issue including "Pen and Inklings--The Bright Side" by Oliver Herford and the double page centerfold illustration which is titled "War Brides" by Chamberlain.

There is a half-page ad for "Murad The Turkish Cigarette." Other advertisements of the day are included as well, helping to portray life at the turn of the century. This issue is in very good condition.
