This issue has a color cover page before the title page. On the back of the cover page there are several photos from the war in yellow ink.

In this issue, there are several articles including "In the Trenches Down South" by J. Evans Crown which includes several photos; "Swarming Families" by Mary Alden Hopkins; "Sounding the Retreat" by Elliott Flower which includes photos; "Stage Drift" by Karl Schmidt; "Who Is It Up To?" by Amos Pinchot; "The Fifth Avenue Church"; "Afloat and Afield on the Coast" by Herbert Reed and "Catholics and Protestants" plus much more.

There are also several illustrations in this issue including "Pen and Inklings" by Oliver Herford and the double page centerfold illustration which is titled "In His Latest Role" by Enright.

There is a half page ad for "Murad--The Turkish Cigarette." Other advertisements of the day are included as well, helping to portray life at the turn of the century. This issue is in very good condition.
