A Fourth of July crash, and a Train disaster in England....

HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, July 21, 1906  There is a front page photo, "The King and Queen of Norway" by Underwood & Underwood. There is an article, "The Future in America, A Search after Realities", by H. G. Wells, author of War of the Worlds, with illustrations done by Vernon Howe Bailey and E. V. Nadherny. Photos of "Scenes at the Coronation of Norway's New King and Queen, at Trondhjem, June 22"; and an article called "A Notable Balloon Voyage Forty-Seven Years Ago" by Edward Hungerford with illustrations labeled, "An Incident of the balloon 'Atlantic's' historic Voyage--the Balloon settling down into a small Lake" and "The Balloon passing over a dense Wilderness in its 300-mile flight." More photos labeled "The Wreck of the English Boat Express from Plymouth in which Twenty-Three Americans were killed when the Train Leaped from the Track"; "Scenes at Salisbury, England, where the Passengers of the Steamship "New York," on their way by Train to London, Met Disaster" and "A Railroad Collision made to Order." Also, "New York City's Rivers as First Aid in Keeping Cool" and other advertisements of the day are included as well.
