A.B. Frost hunting prints... Remington also...

Item # 176270

October 2, 1897

HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, October 2, 1897  Terrific that this issue still has the colorful & decorative outer  wrappers, the front wrapper noting: "Sportsman's Number" and showing a man duck hunting (see). The back cover is a "Remington Arms" ad with a hunting theme.
The full inside front page is by F. Remington: "A Wounded Bull Elk", plus a fullpg. with 7 photos: "On the Way to the Klondike Gold Fields". Nearly halfpg. A.B. Frost print: "A Snap Shot at Woodcock" is a hunting scene. Plus three more hunting scenes by Frost also, including: "Shoot! Shoot, Man! Why Don't You Shoot". "The Evolution of the Golf Club" includes 4 small prints.
Complete in 32 pages.
