HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, May 22, 1897  The front page of this issue features a full page illustration entitled "The Greco-Turkish War - Greek Officers Signalling from the Heights Above Miluna." Inside the issue are three full pages of illustrations of "The Greco-Turkish War."  A half page illustration is featured with a story "Jerome - A Poor Man".  Two small illustrations accompanying an article "Lake Michigan Car-Ferry". 
Most of a page is: "Taking the Starch out of Civil Service Reform." is by W. A. Rogers. A full page of illustration of "With the Cuban Insurgents - Camp Life with Gomez and His Liberating Army" is comprised of many photos. An article entitled "Another Theory About Mars" features two small illustrations. "Adventures of American Army and Navy Officers" features a 3/4 page illustration "Syd Rose in His Stirrups and Struck Him a Tremendous Blow on the Head" and also a letter written by John S. Mosby. Also in this issue is a 1/2 page photo of "International Lacrosse - The Crescent Team and the West-Londoners, South of England Champions."
Complete in 22 pages.
