HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, July 28, 1883  The front cover features a full page 'Homes Of the Poor'. Great full pg: 'Scenes In and Around Saratoga Springs' shows 5 scenes. Great double page centerfold: 'Ration Day At Standing Rock Agency' shows many Indians. A full page 'Sugar Industry of Louisiana' is comprised of several scenes. A half page illustration "A Newsboys' Picnic, Wilmington, Delaware" is by A. B. Frost. "Tom Thumb", whose real name was Charles S. Stratton, article also features an accompanying 1/4 page illustration of him  The issue is complete in 16 pages, in good condition, and contains additional prints and related text.
