HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, May 26, 1883  The full front page is a print captioned: "The New York & Brooklyn Suspension Bridge--New York Entrance" with an inset of J. A. Roebling, the architect.
One inside page has two prints on the Brooklyn Bridge: "Archway Under Approach, New York Side" and "Cable Anchorage, Brooklyn Side, as it Appeared Before Completion", plus there is a full page print of: "The New York & Brooklyn Suspension Bridge--The Approach on the New York Side" and another full page of the: "Brooklyn Entrance". There is a related article on the opening of the Brooklyn Bridge as well, titled: "The Bridge As A Monument".
Other prints in the issue include: "Mr. Charles Lyman, Chief Examiner Civil Service Commission" "Hon. Wm. S. Woods, U.S. District Judge, Indiana" "The Late Amasa Stone" "The Late Mrs. Jesse R. Grant", the general's mother.  Also prints of: "The Race Meeting at Rockaway, Long Island" "Design for a Statue of Paul Revere" and 6 prints of: "Sunfish Shooting".
