The full front page illustration of this issue is of the "Seventh Annual Bench Show of the Westminster Kennel Club, New York" which show 10 dogs. An accompanying article is found within the issue. Two A. B. Frost prints, half page "Here He Found His Companion and Mr. Mincheon" and 1/3 page "The Betrothal" accompany and article entitled "Old Mincheon's Granddaughter". A full page illustration "Theatrical performances in China-Town, San Francisco" features several illustrations. Another full page illustration entitled "Sketches at the Kirmess" also is comprised of several illustrations. A very nice half page illustration "The New Baseball Grounds at Chicago, Illinois" shows a game in progress. A half page "A Night Drill on the Levee at Mobile, Alabama'. A nearly full page illustration is entitled "Exultation". A half-page illustration "Consulting the Barometer" is of an English Farmer with his umbrella.
