HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, April 14, 1877 The entire front page is taken up with a political cartoon by famed artist Thomas Nast, captioned: "Reform Is Necessary In The Foreign Line."
Inside contains 3 pages of text with twelve illustrations headed: "William M. Tweed. Romance of His Flight And Exile". Also a nice full page print of: "From Tower To Tower--The Suspension Bridge Over the East River---View From the Brooklyn Tower" showing the Brooklyn Bridge during construction.
Other prints include a half pg: "San Francisco Newsboys Distributing the Evening Papers", and five prints & text headed: "The Livingstonia Mission in Central Africa".
