Harper's WEEKLY, New York, March 4, 1876  The inside of this issue has a brief article regarding the infamous Molly Maguires. An opposing page has a nice illustrated advertisement for: "Molly Maguire, The Terror of the Coal Fields. By Daniel Doyle, A Mine Boss", which includes considerable details regarding the Mollies.  This issue also contains the following: a full frontpage Thomas Nast political cartoon: "February 22, 1876", over halfpage illustration:  "A Scrub-Race on the Plains",  shows young men on horseback, 3/4 page: "The Country of Macbeth", shows 6 scenes, fullpage: "The New York Fire Insurance Patrol", is great on early fire fighting, fullpage: "The Grand Plaza, Centennial Grounds, Philadelphia", 3/4 page: "Charlotte Cushman", and more (see images).
