The front page illustration 'Christmas Dinner Gone!' shows two Black men chasing a rabbit. A fullpage  Thomas Nast entitled 'The Finger of Scorn'. A halfpage illustration of 'Old Swedish Church in Philadelphia'.

A very nice doublepage centerfold by Thomas Nast entitled 'The Same Old Christmas Story Over Again'  shows two kids sleeping amongst their dreams. A fullpage illustration 'New-Year's Call -- The Knickerbockers of 1650 and 1873'.

The issue is complete in 16 pages, in very good condition (as shown), and contains additional prints and related text.
