HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, July 8, 1871  The front page of the issue features a nice full page entitled "The Glorious Fourth - Sending Up the Fire Balloon". Inside the issue is an article "Corea" (Korea)  which includes 3 scenes: "The U.S. Naval and Diplomatic Expedition to Corea"; "The Corean Sailors Rescued from a Sinking Junk" and "The Squadron at Anchor in the Harbor of Nangasaki, Japan". An article "Women of Montmartre" includes a nearly fullpage illustration as well as "The Tichborne Case" also featuring a nearly full page illustration. A half page "The Glorious Fourth--the First Gun" shows kids with fireworks. Several scenes on the troubles in Paris.
The issue is complete in 16 pages, in good condition, and contains additional prints and related text. See photos for details.
