Illustration of 'William Lloyd Garrison', publisher of The Liberator. Also illustration of: 'Lucretia Mott', the early feminist. Full page Winslow Homer: 'Spring Blossoms'. A fullpage illustration "The Promising Colt". Back page has a 1/4 page illustration: "An Old Scholar", with caption, showing an elderly black woman reading a book.
Complete in 16 pages and contains additional prints and related text.
