HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, September 26, 1868  The front page of the issue features a nearly full page illustration entitled "The Declaration". A halfpage features 2 scenes of: 'Bee Hunting in the Adirondacks' with an accompanying article. A one-third page 'Wreck of the U.S. Steamer Suwanee' as well as a quarter-page illustration "Wreck of the Steamer 'Hippocampus,' September 8, 1868". A fullpage Thomas Nast political cartoon "All the Difference in the World" is focused on the Blacks. An article "The Earthquakes in South America" features three illustrations. One-quarter page shows: 'Rev. S.R. Hall, President of the Wesleyan Conference, England'. Two monument illustrations feature in a halfpage; "The Good Samaritan" and "Monument to Fitz-Greene Halleck at Guilford, Connecticut".  Articles "Gov. R. K. Scott, of South Carolina" and "Senator F. A. Sawyer, of South Carolina" both have accompanying illustrations.
Complete in sixteen pages, in good condition, and contains additional prints and related text.
