HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, Sept. 9, 1865  The front page is mostly taken up with a print: "In The Woods" by W. F. Dobson. Inside contains a full page: "Lieutenant-General Grant's Reception at Galena, Illinois" and another full page: "Whitefield Preaching in Moorfields, A.D. 1742".
Other prints include: "House Presented to General Grant by the Citizens of Galena, Illinois" "Ornaments Presented to Mrs. General Grant by Messrs. Browne and Spaulding, Jewelers & Silversmiths, New York" "View of the Sidewalk Which General Grant Designed Building when He Should Become Mayor of Galena" "The Empress Carlotta" "Maximillian, Emperor of Mexico" "The Emperor Maximillian's Palace at Chapultepec".
The doublepage centerfold is a nice print of: "The Metropolitan Police" which has 13 vignettes of their work and the leaders. Near the back is a print of the: "Railway Collision Near Jamaica, L.I., August 28, 1865". The back page has a cartoon: "Is Tunneling a Bore?" Complete in 16 pages.
