HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, July 16, 1864  The full front page is taken up with a print of the famous photo: "Lieutenant-General Grant at His Headquarters". Other prints within include: "The Naval Contest Off Cherbourg Between the 'Alabama' and the 'Kearsarge' " "General Sherman's Campaign--the Crest of Pine Mountain Where General  Polk Fell" "...Lost Mountain at Sunrise" "...View of Kenesaw From Pine Mountain" "Rebel Desertrers Coming Within the Union Lines" with a related article; "The Spanish Squadron, Commanded by Admiral Pinzon, Taking Possession of the Chincha Islands".
The doublepage centerfold is a great & very displayable Thomas Nast work titled "OUR FLAG" and captioned: "The Fourth Of July 1864" which includes ten vignettes.
The back page has two cartoons, one featuring Abraham Lincoln and the other: "Quite the Reverse" featuring Generals Johnston and Sherman. Complete in 16 pages.
