HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, August 8, 1857 Front page illustration of "An Arab Council" and "Service in the Greek Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre" features an accompanying article "Travel Notes in Bible Lands". Many inside illustration of "Our Excursion to the Fishing Banks." Also a small illustration of "Hon. Henry C. Murphy, U.S. Minister to the Hague-[from a photograph by Brady.]" Many inside illustrations of farm animals (horses, cows, donkeys, pigs, dogs) are featured with the article entitled "Cattle-Fair Day in New England. "Brighton Drover" 1/4 page illustration of Miss Madeleine Smith Before the Court." 1/2 page illustration of "Trial of Madeleine Smith in the Scotch Court of Session."
Complete in 16 pages, in good condition as shown and contains additional prints and related text.
