THE EVANSVILLE DAILY JOURNAL, Ind., March 20, 1856. An endorsement at the top of the first column on pg. 2 supports the "Know Nothing" candidates with: "For President, Millard Fillmore, Of New York. For Vice President, Andrew J. Donelson, Of Tennessee." Title appears just above the endorsement. Perhaps one of the few newspapers to support this famous third party.
