* Byron Nelson wins Masters Tournament
* Augusta National Golf Club - Georgia

The sport's section (page 23) has a banner headline: "Record-Equaling 32 on Last Nine Wins for Nelson in Augusta Golf Tourney" with subheads, 2 photos and scores. First report coverage on Byron Nelson winning the 1937 Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. Always nice to have notable events in history reported in this World famous publication.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete with all 40 pages, this is the rare rag edition that was produced on very high quality newsprint, with a high percentage of cotton & linen content, allowing the issues to remain very white & sturdy into the present. Given the subscription cost, libraries & institutions rather than individuals were the primary subscribers of these high-quality editions. Nice condition.
Note: "the Left Rough" has highlighted this article for its golf enthusiasts.
