THE NEW YORK TIMES, November 29, 1957

* Macy's annual Thanksgiving Day Parade
* The debut of Popeye

Page 125 has: "MACY'S FETE CASTS SPELL ON MIDTOWN", with subheads: "Balloons, Floats, Bands and Cinderella Turns Out". Although this was Popeye's 1st invitation to the dance, he was not mentioned in the coverage. The related photos are captioned:  "Seventy-foot spaceman, feature of Macy's annual Thanksgiving Day parade, attracts..." and "...eyes and hearts of some of the children who jammed curbs to watch the fantasy."
Other news of the day and holiday-themed advertisements are found throughout.
The issue is in overall good condition, but does have significant browning at the fold (see images). While it is believed to be complete in 46 pages, it is being sold for the Macy's Day Parade coverage.
