BOSTON RECORDER, Boston, Massachusetts, November 7, 1828

* Slave ship horrors found...
* Chained in pairs...
* New Orleans, Louisiana bound...

Page 3 has a report from a Baltimore paper about "Domestic Slavery" that says a vessel with "a cargo of 200 souls" departed from that city for New Orleans.

Also says that: "This is the largest number of slaves we ever knew to be congregated together, in a domestic slave ship. From the size of the vessel we are under the impression that their situation must be very uncomfortable, especially as they are chained in pairs in the hold."

Other news of the day includes: "Cherokees" "Dartmouth College" "Presidential Election" and more.

4 pages in nice condition.
