The front page has a very nice banner headline: "U.S. ATOM SUB SAILS UNDER NORTH POLE ICE" with subhead. (see) First report coverage on the 1st ever vessel to complete a submerged transit across the North Pole.
Incomplete issue containing the front and back leafs of the 1st section only (4 pages total) of a 4 section newspaper. A few small archival mends at the bottom margin, very nice for display as such.
