FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, Dec. 30, 1871 Inside has a small print of: "England--A Game of Football, the Last Scrimmage", which is rugby.
The prime print is one of: "Karl Marx, One of the Founders of the 'Internationale' " with an article on him titled: "Dr. Karl Marx. This is a very early American portrait of Karl Marx, and apparently the earliest presently documented portrait of Marx in an American illustrated periodical.
