During the action between Arbuthnot & the French fleet the enemy suffered much, particularly in two of their line of battle ships, which were scarcely able to reach Rhode Island." (see). Eight pages, 9 by 12 inches, never trimmed, nice condition.

This document contains two signatures, is dated December 26, 1781 and is written out for "Six Pounds" Measurement is approx. 4 by 6 inches. Minor wear, nice condition. A terrific item for display and dated just before Cornwallis' surrender. Very rare !
